So here I am, on a quiet Sunday afternoon. You know the drill: we moms spend the day getting the house ready for the week ahead when kids need to be picked up late from practice, you wind up working late, someone needs to go to dance class, someone else has to be taken to a sleepover at a friend's house. The household chores get pushed aside during the week.
But I've found it's this is the best time of the week to do those household chores because---don't laugh at me---some of them don't feel like "work". Am I the only one who finds ironing relaxing? (unless it's a steamy summer day and the a/c isn't on and I turn into a sweat hog) Folding towels and other laundry gives me a chance to just let my mind zone out.
