ZIPLOC OMELETS
2 large or
extra eggs
Shredded cheese (optional)
Diced
onion (optional)
Green pepper (optional)
Mushrooms (optional)
Olives (optional)
Tomato (optional)
Salsa (optional)
Quart size Ziploc Freezer bag
Crack 2 eggs
into a quart-size Ziploc freezer bag (no more
than 2 eggs per bag). Shake to combine them.
Add desired ingredients such as shredded cheese,
diced onion, green pepper, mushrooms, olives,
tomato, etc. Remove air from bag and zip closed.
Shake bag to mix.
Place the bag
into rolling, boiling water for exactly 13
minutes. (May cook 6-8 omelets (bags) in a large
pot at one time). Open bag and omelet will roll
out easily onto plate. Great to serve with fresh
fruit and coffee cake! |
