Wahby Cancer Center (part of the Great Lakes Cancer Institute) will hold free prostate cancer screenings at the cancer center (located behind the hospital on the north side of the campus). Peter Yarrow and Noel Stookey of Peter, Paul, and Mary will perform at the Light One Candle Benefit Concert in memory of Mary Travers. Mary received a bone marrow transplant in 2005. Sadly she lost her battle with cancer last year. The Light One Candle Concert will raise funds to add more potential donors to the Be the Match Registry to help other patients like Mary. Angela Hospice hosts its Annual Walk of Remembrance, where families and friends can walk in honor of loved ones.
